Available in a number of colours, these flowers are a cottage garden favourite. With their long, billowing stems, covered in bell-like flowers, the foxglove really is a delight. Foxglove (Digitalis) is a genus in the plantain family (Plantaginaceae). The botanical name Digitalis means finger and that name was given because the flower fits around the human finger.
